Photography is the base of her pictural work (she does mixed media art - photography \ collages\ silkscreen \ oil painting) she is also a photographer.
In 2005, She has been graduated of Art after 5 years at ESAD- Art school of Strasbourg. During the year of her study, Ayline OLUKMAN was already showing her work on galleries, her 1st personnal exhibition was in 2005 at the Bertrand Gillig Gallery in Strasbourg.
In 2006 and 2007, she has been selected to exhibit at MAC 2000 in Paris, a well knowned Fair where the young growing french artists can show their works to a public and galleries. After this 2 shows, Ayline OLUKMAN had many contacs with differents galleries in Paris, Bordeaux, Toulouse but also London and Bruxelles. In 2008 she went to Shanghai for the Shanghai Art Fair, has been also presented at Glasgow art fair, Art London, Art elysee in Paris and had a collective exhibition in San Francisco. Recently, she had an important personnal exhibition at Paris in 2010, was in Scope basel in june 2011 and will have a solo exihibition at Goteborg-Sweden in september 2011.
The notion of movement is really current in Ayline's work, she captures moments like they were coming out from a movie. Since 2006, Ayline find her inspiration in travel, She lived 6 mouths at Vancouver BC, 3 in San Francisco, she went to many countries all aver the world (Japan \ china \ argentina \ USA \ canada \ thailand \ cambodia \ sri lanka) This permanent call of elsewhere pushes her in the emergency of living, her pictures mixing this feeling of fiction and autobiography.

Nowadays, she is working an a book where she is crossing the bridge of a different ways of expression, mixing pure photography, collages and narration, explaining the genese of her painting through all her differents adventures.
